Explore traditional and innovative vocal techniques to cultivate awareness, collaboration, resonance, and healing, using pleasure as your guide. When we sing, we ourselves are the instruments, and singing calls on us to simultaneously observe and interact, developing sensitivity to both our internal sensory experience and the sound around us. This session offers a taste of basic but potentially revolutionary techniques of breathing, resonance, and awareness to tune up your observational skills, both inwardly and outwardly; experience our interconnectedness through vibration and making music together; integrate our logical and intuitive brains; create unexpected and beautiful sounds; and find refreshment and community in singing together.
