Intro to Making Biochar + Hands-on Demonstration (Double Session)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Have you been wanting to learn more about biochar? How to make it, use it, and why it works to build super soils while at the same time reducing your carbon footprint? Come learn these things and more.   Greg Martin from Maine Biochar will be there to answer all your questions while teaching you how to make your own high quality biochar from brush.  (The second half of this - after a short break - will be hands-on.  Please dress accordingly!).

Greg Martin

Greg Martin is the owner of Maine Biochar, a start up business working to make biochar a normal part of how we all build soils that will maintain fertility during our lifetimes and long afterwards. Greg has been working with biochar since 2006, is a life long gardener, trained Master Gardener, and a certifiable perennial edible plant geek. When not making biochar he works on his amateur perennial plant breeding projects.
