Growing Soil with a Food Forest

Something amazing has happened to the soil at Paradise Lot (our 10-year-old edible forest garden). We’ve grown great food, like persimmons, kiwis and pawpaws, and now we're growing great soil too! In this workshop we’ll discuss the permaculture design that built the soil, evaluate the soil test results, and share plans for growing more black gold.


Jonathan Bates

Jonathan has been learning, thinking and teaching ecologically for two decades. He’s co-created dozens of thriving farms and gardens in the CT River Valley.
