Self-Care: A Prerequisite for Sustainability

Even those of us committed to the well-being of our planet can struggle to overcome cultural bias against making our own well-being a priority.  With so many important people and projects to tend to it can be hard to justify self-care.  
Research shows, however, that when we are happy we make better decisions for ourselves and our planet.  It also shows that we are more creative and collaborative and that our immune systems function more effectively when we are happy.
Let's explore: 1) why our well-being needs to be a priority in order for us to achieve a truly sustainable and regenerative culture; 2) Simple things we can do to improve our well-being; and 3) How we can support each other in making well-being a priority in our own lives and in our communities...and have fun doing it!
