Permablitzes: Reciprocity in Action (Story & Discussion)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Permablitzing is urban/suburban "barn raising" that combines hard work, experiential education, celebration, food, and community-building to do the physical work of transformation and resilience-building. We'll talk about the Resilience Hub's experience organizing a season of blitzes, several hosts and participants will share their stories, and attendees will come away with energy, inspiration, and practical organizing tools to put their own permablitzes into action!  This session will be a balance of panel story-telling, practical organizing tool-sharing, and Q+A.

Heather Foran

Heather Foran is an educator, organizer, and facilitator who coordinates the permablitz season for the Resilience Hub. She was initially drawn to these work parties because of the chance to get out of her head and into the actual work of transformation. She loves the planned spontaneity that permablitzes provide and is excited about building self-organizing capacity in Portland and other places around the state.
