The Ecovillage: Learning from Models of what is Possible

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Have you ever imagined what the world would be like if you could design it all? How would you meet the needs of a human settlement, considering the whole picture of environment, community, and person? Ecovillages serve as powerful experimentation centers for finding answers to these questions. Sustainable communal living is nothing new in the history of humanity, yet so much is new to us as we immerse ourselves in these hyper-complex systems of permaculture design. Ecovillages may not be THE solution, but they are excellent places to learn about many solutions. These are physical locations that bring together the social, environmental, economic, and cultural dimensions of sustainability in functional relation with each other. Join us for a participatory workshop exploring how we can learn from what community has to teach. Experience the ecovillage to experience what is possible.
